The Elves Of Fyrimm Isle
    Fyrimm Isle is a long-dead volcano approximately 150 miles in diameter, 1500 miles west of Calimport (Forgotten Realms), that originally populated by Elves not willing to take part  in the War of Elvenkind. The elves here are generally of neutral or good alignment. The northeastern half of the island is primarily patrolled by the Drow, who settled Northwatch. Southwatch was settled by the Sylvan elves, who are primarily responsible for the southeastern half. The Grey elves reside in Fyrimm Dale, & responsible for raising livestock & crops, & handle trade with the outside world. Harbordown is the home of the Aquatic elves, who harvest fish, crabs, etc. All four races of elves live in harmony here, with constant interaction, & it is not uncommon to find them living in the settlements of one another. Only Sky elves are restricted to residence - Fyrimm Reach is the home of the Sky elves, & only they may live there. The Sky elves are responsible for transportation & aerial protection.
     Northwatch & Southwatch are up among the trees, & consist of tree houses & hollowed trees. The buildings of Fyrimm Dale are of wood or sod. Harbordown, 500' below the surface of the harbor, is made of stone. Fyrimm Reach is a network of caves & tunnels.
     Fyrimm Isle enjoys a tropical climate & rich soil. Spring monsoons & fall hurricanes are the only "bad" weather. The Blackwood trees of Fyrimm Jungle grow 25' to 75' in diameter, &200' to 500' in height. Wildlife is consistent with terrain, and the skins and meat are of the best quality. Fruit trees grow 3 to 5 times their normal size, & produce comparable fruits. Vegetables also reach 3 to 5 times normal size. Livestock raised here is of incredible quality, as are the fruits, etc.
     The Fyrimm rises to 2,500' above sea level, & is topped by permanent magical fire that encircles the entire 'rim. This fire, in the center of the 'rim, lifts 250' into the air while randomly shifting through the entire color spectrum. The mesa of Fyrimm Reach is 2000' above sea level. Fyrimm Dale is 500' above sea level; 500' below the exterior base of the 'rim & 2000' below the top.
     The pools on the Fyrimm are fed by hot freshwater springs & hold a temperature of about 90 degrees. They are 30' deep with 10' thick walls at the tops of the falls that leave a 1' depth. The pools at the bases of the falls are 50' to 100' deep & the smaller rivers run 25' to 60' deep, with shallows of 3' to 10'. The two larger rivers run 50' to 75' deep. A 50' deep canal leads through a tunnel with a 100' ceiling from the northernmost pool through the Fyrimm to the harbor. Currents are weak. The pool on the mesa of Fyrimm Reach the same as the pools on the 'rim, except that it is fed by cold freshwater springs & maintains a temperature of about 50 degrees. The harbor is, of course, freshwater, with a temperature of about 70 degrees.
     There are, at all times, roaming the island; In the jungle: Two patrols each from North-watch & Southwatch, & one from Fyrimm Dale; In the sky: Two patrols from Fyrimm Reach. The ground patrols each consist of two fighters, one cleric, one mage, & 1 random multi-class. The air patrols consist of two Sky elves each.
