Sky Elves
The Sky Elves are an elite group that live separate from the other elves on the island. They ride rocs, and are responsible for aerial protection & transportation. Each rider has a lifelong empathic link with his bird, & the two protect each other at all costs. If a rider is killed, the bird will avenge him or her, & then suicide. If a bird is killed, the rider will avenge it, then make the final journey from the realm of man.
